HELP Change lives
At Bethany House of Northern Virginia we are dedicated to ending domestic violence. We want to stop the cycle of violence from one generation to the next. We do this by removing the victim from the abuser, providing counseling, career training and Aftercare services. But we need your help. We can't do this alone. We need your help and partnership.
"Before I came to Bethany House, my life was in complete chaos. I had suffered from years of abuse from my husband after surviving an extremely turbulent childhood. I was under a tremendous amount of stress, I was chain smoking, and I wasn't in good emotional or physical health. My children were suffering, and I was feeling so hopeless and fearful all the time.
Life for me at Bethany House has been beyond what I could have imagined. My children and I have the medical and dental care we needed. I love that my children and I now have stable routines. I can see the difference in my kids because of it. They are calmer and happier, and I feel more secure, too."
